Case Study 2
In a multiprogramming and time-sharing environment, several users share the system simultaneously. This situation can result in various security problems. Name at least two of these problems. Can we ensure the same degree of security in a time-share machine as we have in a dedicated machine? Explain your answer

Based on my research  multiprogramming is one of the more basic types of parallel processing that can be employed in many different environments. Essentially, multiprogramming makes it possible for several programs to be active at the same time, while still running through a single processor. The functionality of multiprogramming in this environment involves a continual process of sequentially accomplishing tasks associated with the function of one program, then moving on to run a task associated with the next program.  Some student of our  community to have vocational course like programming because easy to apply a  job and faster to earn money. Any company in the Davao city to hire a programmer because when the company make a system like a billing system the programmer is easy to solve the problem of the company because have skills to make a program.
                                                  The problem of multiprogramming

Problem 1: Passwords (medium)

This problem is based on one set in the 2000 British Informatics Olympiad.
In order to increase security the network manager has introduced some new rules concerning passwords:

  1. Passwords must consist of a mixture of lowercase letters and numerical digits only, with at least one of each.
  2. Passwords must be between 5 and 12 characters in length.
  3. Passwords must not contain any sequence of characters immediately followed by the same sequence.

Problem 2: Divisors (easy)

The proper divisors of a positive integer n are those integers, excluding n itself, that divide n exactly. For example, the proper divisors of 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6.
  • Write a program that inputs a positive integer and outputs its proper divisors.
For me the machine we use the programmer is to have a good quality to the company because when the company we use the system to approach the programmer your program is good performance and good quality to the user.
